Websites built (partially) by hand
A website is not decoration. It is the first thing your customer meets, and often the only thing that decides whether they stay or click away. I build it myself. Not assembled from a template, not stuffed with plugins you will never use, and with nobody standing between you and the person writing the code.
The parenthesis is deliberate. I use AI daily, the same way I use an editor and a search engine. What I do not do is ship code I have not read and cannot explain to you afterwards.
A website you can actually run yourself
Most websites do not die of bad design. They die because nobody touches them after launch, because whoever built them made maintenance impossible without an invoice.
I build sites you can update yourself. Fast, secure, and without a layer of unnecessary plugins that exist mainly to look impressive. When I am done, you own both the site and the code. Not a subscription that ties you to me forever.
And if it is a shop rather than a site, then we are talking Shopify. I build both. You pick what fits what you do.

WordPress runs more than forty percent of the web, and for good reason. Flexible, future-proof and something you can manage yourself. Ideal for company sites, portfolios, blogs and anything that has to show who you are.
This is home turf. I have built in WordPress for years and know it from the database to the last line of CSS.

If you are selling products online, Shopify is hard to beat. Payment, inventory, shipping and security are built in from the start, so you can concentrate on selling instead of putting out fires.
I set the shop up, tailor it to your brand and make it fast, because a slow shop is an empty shop.

Not everything lives in WordPress or Shopify. An old site on an exotic platform, a headless setup, or an idea that does not fit a template. I will take that on.
I am not religious about the tool. Only about whether it works afterwards.

Speed and structure from day one
A site should load before your visitor regrets the click. I write light code, optimise images and keep the plugin count down, so the site is fast rather than merely pretty.
Written deliberately, not unpacked from a box
No purchased themes with sixty settings you never touch. I build what you need, and only that. It makes the site easier to maintain and harder to break into.
AI helps me move faster through the boring parts. It does not decide the architecture, and it does not get the last word on anything that ends up in your repository.

When we are done, you own all of it. No licence trap, no lock-in. Want to carry on alone, you can. Want me on the sidelines, I am there. But it is your choice, not a subscription.
